The TELINT Information Management Module is a web-based software module, which connects to unmanned search and rescue platforms for providing asset management and monitoring to search and rescue teams for crisis management.

It manages data exchange between complex application protocol interfaces (API) of 3rd party systems. Its is a pure Java solution, fully based on OSGi allowing a highly modular architecture, and it’s core is built on Equinox OSGi runtime and Jetty as a web server. It brings together different bus systems, hardware devices and interface protocols by dedicated bindings. These bindings send and receive commands and status updates on the platform event bus enabling the unified operation of devices which are based on a big number of different technologies. Bindings are realised as OSGi bundles, which are dynamically plugged into the platform enabling easy customisation and deployment of local site-specific instances of the platform. We have developed bindings for industry leading protocols such as MQTT.

The TIMM has been utilised in the DARIUS FP7 project exchanging messages using the DARIUS API.
